By booking a workshop or class at Tuftz 101, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

General Terms
  1. Eligibility: Participants must be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by a guardian who is also a registered participant in the workshop.
  2. Workshop Registration: All participants must register and pay in full prior to the scheduled workshop. Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  3. Conduct: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and safe manner. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.
Workshop Policies

Refund Policy for Tufting Workshop Stations

  • All Sales are Final: Once booked, all sales are final. If you are unable to attend your original scheduled workshop, please email us at TUFTZ101@GMAIL.COM at least 48 hours before the original date to reschedule. Workshops must be rebooked within 1 week of the original date.


Late Policy

  • We offer a 15-minute grace period. Participants arriving later than their scheduled start time will have their session cancelled and will need to rebook for another date. Immediate rebooking on the same day is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.

Time Frame Extension

  • Workshops have a set duration. Exceeding this time frame may result in additional charges, depending on availability and subsequent bookings.

Group Workshops

  • Cancellation and Rescheduling: All sales are final. To reschedule, please contact us at least 72 hours before the scheduled time. Traced frames will be kept at no extra charge for rebooked sessions, which must occur within 2 weeks of the original date. No extensions beyond this period will be granted.
Safety and Liability
  • Assumption of Risk: Tufting involves the use of machinery and tools that may be hazardous if improperly handled. Tuftz 101 will provide necessary safety instructions; however, all participants agree to assume the risk of any injuries or damages resulting from the use of such equipment.
  • Personal Safety: Participants must follow all safety guidelines demonstrated by the instructors. Tuftz 101 is not responsible for injuries or damages resulting from participants' failure to follow safety instructions or from improper use of equipment.
  • Hair and Clothing: To prevent accidents, we highly recommend that long hair be tied back and that participants avoid loose clothing around machinery. Tuftz 101 shall not be liable for any incident involving participants' hair getting caught in tufting machines or other equipment due to negligence in following these precautions.
Health and Safety Information

Allergies

  • Latex Allergy Notification: Some of the materials used in our workshops, including equipment and product components, contain latex. Participants with a latex allergy should notify Tuftz 101 at the time of booking. Please email us at TUFTZ101@GMAIL.COM with any health concerns or allergies before your workshop date. Failure to notify us of a latex allergy may limit our ability to provide alternative materials and could pose a health risk. Tuftz 101 strives to ensure a safe environment for all participants, but we must be informed in advance to make the necessary accommodations.
Changes to Terms

Tuftz 101 reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes prior to their registered workshops.
